Contents: Writing applications (for academic job or grant) including a CV.
Assignment: Read my handouts and Lecture Notes. Write an application and suitable CV and give written feedback to popular text of one selected course participant. For the application the best is if you write an application for an existing job (e.g. Post doc) position or a grant. If you can't find one I suggest you write a fake job application requesting the following: Cover letter (1 page), CV (2 pages), Research plan (3 pages), and additional attachments if you want.
