the exam that some of you sat on Thursday was the last planned for this class before this is given again next year. Now, if there is an interest - that is many students that want to write the exam we might be able to organize a session in August.
Thus, if you want to wrtie the exam before January 2026 contact the students affairs office (NOT ME). and they will work to find the best period for everyone to organize a third exam.
Please keep a pair of things in mind
1. There is no obligation what so ever in organizing this omtenta. While this is a quick action for the sutdent affair office, it is not the same for me as creating exams requires time. If I am told that there will be 10 people and just one shows up on exam day, I will certainly be not happy and less inclined in the future to perform this kind of kindness.
2. You might not know that every time you sign up for an exam the department pays the tentaservice for your spot. Of course, we are happy to pay if you attempt the exam, but, if you do not show up without cancelling yourself in goodtime, we are really burning money that could be used in a thousand different and more productive ways, from buying a book to pay an amanuensis some extra hours.
