Using AI tools is not strictly prohibited in the projects but there are clear restrictions on how you are allowed to use them.
You are allowed to use AI as a learning tool to discuss and clarify conceptual details. I would even encourage you to do so, with the caveat that you should always verify the information since hallucinations are still a problem.
However, using AI to write the project report or the code is strictly prohibited. If AI use is detected for these parts disciplinary action will be taken.
