This course is taught in English.

The course addresses the basic statistical principles from the viewpoints of both frequentist and Bayesian statistics. In particular, the topics, like point and interval estimation, test theory, likelihood theory, asymptotics, bootstrap, and model selection will be studied. The implementation of the theoretical results in statistical software is an important part of the course.
