Good and bad research practice. Ethics and use of AI. This day is new from previous course editions.
Home assignment: (Home assignments have deadline the day before the next meeting day. This home assignment hence has deadline Oct 7 at 23.59, and similar for the following home assignments). Read my handouts and Lecture notes. Check and summarize guidelines for research ethics as well as use of AI for one scientific journal which you plan to publish in, and one scientific organization you either are a member of or could think of being. Not all organizations have ethical guidelines, so look for one that has. Summarize both very briefly in a 1-2 document. At the next meeting you will be asked to present your findings in a 2-3 minute presentation. You may use computer and slides, but using the black board is sufficient.
