Dear math student,
A few days have now passed since the course started, and we hope that you’ve had a good start.
We would like to share some important information regarding course registration, exam sign-up, examination and grading procedures
Please take a moment to read through this information carefully to ensure you stay up to date and meet all necessary deadlines.
Register for courses in Ladok
When you are admitted to a course, you have to register for the course in Ladok in order to:
- Keep your place on the course
- Get grades reported on the course
- Sign up for the exam
- Receive study grants from CSN
How do you know if you are registered?
If the course appears under the "Current" on your Ladok page,
your registration is complete. If you have taken the course before but did not
finish it, you will instead find the course under "My Education"
and "Not Completed."
Note that Ladok and the course webpages (kurshemsida) are not linked. Even if you are activated/enrolled to the course webpage you still need to register for the course in Ladok
The last day to register for most courses that start in the AB-period is on Sunday September 21th. (NOTE! If the course is given in collaboration with KTH, double check the date yourself in Ladok). If you have problem with the registration, please contact us in time before the web registration closes in Ladok.
Signing Up for Exams (Note: 10-day Deadline)
To
participate in a written on-campus exam, you must sign up for the exam in Ladok.
You can register starting about one month before the exam date, and the deadline
to sign up is 23:59, 10 days before the exam.
- Example: If the exam is on March 23, the registration period ends on March 13.
Please note that we cannot register you for the exam after the deadline has passed. If you miss the sign-up deadline, you will need to register for the next upcoming exam date.
If you have already signed up for the exam but later realize that you will not write the exam, we kindly ask you to de-register (avanmäla) from the exam in Ladok.
Examination and grading
It is important that you are aware of of the rules and regulations for the particular course
you are currently enrolled in.
You can read more about examination rules here: During your studies.
Exam returns
The Department uses a digital system for exam returns, which automatically sends your
scanned and graded exam to the email address linked to your account on the
course homepage. Your exam will be sent from the following email address: tentataerlamning@math.su.se.
Course evaluations
Course
evaluations are an important tool for us to find out what you students think
about our courses. When the course is finished you will get an evaluation by
email to fill out.
You can find previous course evaluations here: Course evaluations at the Department of
Mathematics.
Keep your email address up to date
