Instructions for uploading and archiving exams

Upload a recent exam
Please upload the exam and any solution file as soon as possible after the exam has taken place.
Students often request access to the exam shortly after it has been given.
Name files according to the format coursecode_examdate, e.g. MM5000_240315.pdf.
Add s or l for solution files, e.g. MM5000_240315s.pdf.
How to upload exams to the Old exams folder
- Click Turn editing on.
- Open the Old exams folder and select Edit.
- Upload the exam and any solution file.
- Click Save and return to course.
Archive older exams
This page also contains older exams for the course, which may not need to be visible to students in the current course instance.
The current examiner is responsible for archiving exams that should no longer be visible to students by moving them to the Old exams archive folder.
What should be archived?
Exams older than approximately two years should normally be archived.
For courses that are given less frequently, it may be appropriate to keep older exams visible for a longer period.
Please note that students can always request older exams as public records (allmän handling). This is handled by the Student affairs office.
How to archive exams
- Open the Old exams folder in editing mode.
- Download the file(s) to be archived to your computer.
- Delete these files from the folder and click Save and return to course.
- Open the Old exams archive folder.
- Upload the files you downloaded to the archive folder.
